Enhancing the quality of life for all Queensland communities

IPWEAQ influences government and industry.

IPWEAQ is a registered charity with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission) approved in the following areas:

  • Advancing education
  • Advancing the security or safety of Australia or Australian public
  • Advancing the natural environment
  • Promote or oppose a change to law, government policy or practice

Our Board consists of eight members: the President, Vice President, the four Branch Presidents and two additional members from the membership at-large.

The structure is designed to ensure statewide representation, responsiveness and independence in the interests of good governance principles.

Elections for the eight positions on the IPWEAQ board will commence April 2017 with a call for nominations. Successful candidates will be declared elected at the 2017 Annual General Meeting to be held in Townsville.
